A friend of his apparently burned a lot of money trying to build a product that never really went anywhere and eventually walked away. Meanwhile, the people who were actually the backbone of the company were sent home, and naturally the whole process started falling apart. Now what’s left is mostly a group of “meeting nerds” happily sitting in 5-hour calls discussing everything except actual progress. Lots of talk, very little product. If you value your time, sanity, and a bit of self-respect, you might want to think twice before joining.
