Pros

-Some nice people -headquarters is pretty

Cons

It was a very culty environment, where favoritism was heavily applied. The talent leader at the time embarrassingly showed favoritism to the Gallagher family members throughout the GCAP program and dismissed others that he didn't consider were of importance. Gallagher's got talent was a way for leaders at Gallagher to belittle the new grads hired out of college by giving harsh feedback and having unrealistic expectations in regards to goal setting. I've conversed with other people my age in sales positions and no one has experienced something similar to the internal competition Gallagher made us all go through. Would not recommend working here.

Pros

Great work-life balance as a remote employee. Management is approachable and genuinely willing to help when it comes to workload — you never feel like you're on your own.

Cons

Mentorship is largely self-driven. if you don't seek it out yourself, it won't come to you. Systems and internal processes can be slow and tedious, which adds friction to an already fast-paced workload. Compensation does not reflect the complexity or volume of work expected. High performers who are ready for the next step would benefit from clearer, more proactive promotion paths. When that structure is missing, talented people disengage quietly long before they ever leave.
