Pros

Lots of free food from vendors. Not very many meetings or fluff......

Cons

....there aren't time for meetings because everyone is so completely swamped with work! Upper management is very out of touch with the reality of the claims load and what can and cannot be promised to clients. There is no appreciation for the time away from family that the employees give. Everyone has laptops and are expected to work at nights and on the weekends. Raises are minimal and bonuses don't exist. If your branch has E & O for the month, no one in the branch gets the monthly "refuel" of $10 per person. It doesn't matter if month after month you don't have any E & O and month after month someone else does have E & O, NO one in the branch will ever get rewarded. All are punished, across the company, for the crimes of one. One branch had a complaint from a client about not getting return phone calls and every single branch then had to sign off every day in an email (that is there way of getting you) that you had returned all of your calls that day. It didn't matter if your branch had glowing reviews, every adjuster in your branch still has to do it. Caseloads and new notice volume is not equitable. Some desks only have 1 customer and other desks have 10 customers. If you are on a particular account, you cannot work from home and must be in the office every day. If an adjuster does not have a particular account, then they can work from home. You are essentially punished by having certain accounts. There is a log that is used daily that has so much stuff on it that you cannot get to your own new losses for the day. Everyone comes in super early and stays super late. Not a good company if you are married or have kids or even pets that you want to spend time with. Upper management does not stand up for employees when it comes to clients. The client is always right and is always catered to. Upper management are all males without families. Adjusters are females with families. Not much career growth potential.

Pros

Great work-life balance as a remote employee. Management is approachable and genuinely willing to help when it comes to workload — you never feel like you're on your own.

Cons

Mentorship is largely self-driven. if you don't seek it out yourself, it won't come to you. Systems and internal processes can be slow and tedious, which adds friction to an already fast-paced workload. Compensation does not reflect the complexity or volume of work expected. High performers who are ready for the next step would benefit from clearer, more proactive promotion paths. When that structure is missing, talented people disengage quietly long before they ever leave.
