Pros
- good salary and benefits - good work/life balance until now but it could get worse with the current restructuring - some really good people at Manager level but not above
Cons
- mostly incompetent and confused Senior Management (starting from functional heads and above) with no idea of where to go with this business. The company is laying off nearly 1000 people but the top management who is responsible and accountable for catastrophic business performance is mostly untouched. - Communication is not clear and transparent at ALL. Starting from job interviews where they sell you inaccurate job descriptions to the daily life in the office where information is manipulated as it fits the situation - very limited/no support from Senior Management in matters of escalation, road block elimination, cross functional alignments. You are on your own and actually you are usually held accountable for things that are not in your control. - lack of company culture. No effort to get one established. - gossiping: people spending hours at the coffee machine or chatting on their computer talking about other people, rumours etc. - not a meritocratic company: promotions not based on results but on relationships within the company. Management does a poor job with rewarding people for their results/achievements
