Pros

Most of the technicians are good people.

Cons

Ever-changing pay. Very poor equipment managment. Working 1.5+ hours away from home almost daily. Long drives with essentially no compensation. (Driving an hour between jobs and not being paid to do so) Using personal phone for work. VERY expensive insurance with poor coverages. Varying work load, creating varying pay. "Performing" technicians getting routes first. Maintaining unrealistic metrics that get higher with every quarter.

Pros

I love working at Galaxy1. I have been a Satellite Technician for 5 years now and in that time I have become a trainer and have attained many different skillsets. They really take care of you and treat you like family. Everyone from owners of the company to your fellow technician, takes the time to get to know you personally. Galaxy goes out of their way to make sure you have what you need to succeed. I got a company truck when I started so I never have to worry about gas or maintenance. I love interacting with customers and being able to see their faces light up when I improve their home viewing experience, it gets me everytime and it's why I get up in the morning.

Cons

I honestly can't really find anything I feel needs improved. Galaxy listens to employees because they care and it's an amazing place to work. It doesn't even feel like work when it's fun.
