Pros

Leadership who cares, ultra transparent about how the business is performing, why tough decisions are made and tons of forums both open and private to provide feedback. High performance culture without sacrificing work life balance (monthly recharge days, shared calendars where you can clearly see leaders block off for family, fitness and mental health). Thought leader in the space and tons to learn from wide range of expertise. As an IC if you want to do something outside of your role, no boundaries here to contribute to get more visibility or opportunity.

Cons

As a ton of tech is in a downturn and those are primarily the customers Gainsight serve, times are tough. With hiring, promotion and raise freezes career opportunities right now are completely on pause for most, even top performers. Employee events are also paused which is hard as Gainsight is all remote in the US. I miss my team and feeling connected.

Pros

I absolutely love working at Gainsight. The leadership team is thoughtful, strategic, and genuinely cares about both the business and the people behind it. There’s a strong culture of innovation and building are encouraged and brought to life. The products are thought leaders in the space. Customers who fully invest in it and continue to educate themselves across the platforms consistently see strong ROI and genuinely love it. What really stands out is the environment: mistakes aren’t met with blame, but with coaching and support. You’re challenged, backed, and given the space to grow while doing meaningful work.

Cons

Like many growing companies, some processes and change management can feel a bit disorganized at times. That said, there’s strong awareness across the team and leadership, and a real openness to change everyone recognizes the opportunity to drive more efficiency and is actively working toward it.
