Pros
Great place to gain valuable professional experience, work with well-known brands, and develop skills that are highly transferable to future roles.
Cons
The GWI I joined and the GWI I left felt like two very different companies. Over the years, the culture declined significantly, and many teams became increasingly disconnected. Collaboration was often difficult, and some colleagues displayed entitled and unprofessional behavior that made the work environment challenging.
Career growth opportunities were limited, and compensation did not always reflect the responsibilities and expectations placed on employees. In recent years, leadership appeared heavily focused on AI initiatives and cost-cutting measures, which created uncertainty and negatively impacted morale. Frequent layoffs and restructures made many employees feel undervalued and replaceable.
While I gained valuable experience and worked with some talented individuals, I would encourage leadership to invest more in employee development, culture, and transparency.
