Pros

Highly celebratory culture: Leadership will celebrate every pitch, presentation, and client interaction we have with a hyper-positive, congratulatory spin, no matter how poorly it actually goes. Highly enthusiastic employee base: The majority of people here are self-proclaimed "ad nerds" and are driven by an intense desire to be awarded in the advertising industry. That success means everything to them and makes them incredibly eager to dedicate their time and energy to the work. Highly insular culture: If you're hispanic/latino or white, you'll feel very comfortable here

Cons

-Low pay: At the lowest end or fully below market rates -High ego: Lots of ego to deal with here, particularly across leadership and creative -Poor DEI: Despite claiming we're big on DEI, there's really no awareness or priority about being culturally sensitive or accommodating -Mediocre creative hive mind: Being a creative agency, creative dictates everything in our work. Overruling account and strategy inputs. It's frustrating that we're generally very out of touch with what impactful creative for today's consumer looks like but no matter how many pitches we consistently lose because of our unsatisfactory creative POVs, creative leadership doesn't take a moment to reflect on our shortcomings. Low success rate: In the 30+ pitches I've worked on up til now, we've lost the majority of them and the ones we managed to win, we ended up losing later down the line because we were unable to creatively satisfy the client asks. So it's rare that we get a chance to ship any work out the door, let alone work we can actually feel proud of putting our name on.

Pros

*Great place to build portfolio if you want to grow in this industry. *Highly talented people to work with. *Good pay.

Cons

*Ideas end up being specs. *While there's highly talented people, there's also highly egotistical people who think they're the last Coca-Cola in the desert. *Churn and burn. Be very careful when joining this agency. They won't care throwing you under the bus when they need to open up a new shop or they're not hitting numbers.
