Pros

1. Work life balance 2. Nothing apart from that

Cons

1. My interview process dragged on for nearly three months due to delays in scheduling, which was frustrating in itself. 2. Despite the back and forth, I accepted the offer because of the company’s strong reputation in the pharmaceutical space. 3. However, once onboarded, I was placed in a team that proved to be the most dysfunctional I’ve ever encountered. From the outset, I felt like a token hire rather than a valued team member. 4. The senior manager lacked direction and leadership, offering no clear vision or support to the team. 5. Collaboration was nearly non-existent. The team members were uncooperative, and understanding internal processes and dynamics was incredibly difficult. I often felt undervalued and unstimulated in a role that failed to challenge me or make use of my skills. 6. Favoritism played a significant role in project allocation, with certain individuals consistently given preferential treatment. 7. Overall, it was one of the most mentally and emotionally draining eight months of my career. Fortunately, I was able to move on quickly and step into a much healthier work environment—something I’m deeply grateful for.
