Pros
Fantastic place to learn but only suitable for employees that are really aligned to making a change to patient's life. Detailed investigation process and structured systems available as layers of governance to prevent any undesirable outcomes such as safety incidents / quality incidents. Every single employee have the potential to change the direction of the company is going in the name of investigation lead.
Cons
Without having a higher purpose, one will not be able to survive staring at your salary slip by the month. It is not sustainable. One must be detailed in nature in terms of personality and have perfected multitasking as a skill to be able to survive but not excel. Unlimited amount of projects to undertake with very stretched timelines. Be prepared to be swarmed and not only challenged. Being challenged is an understatement. Compliance is at its at it's pinnacle for both complexity as well as broadness of scope. Every single entry recorded as part of manufacturing will be scrutinized by quality in the name of FDA data integrity requirement. Heavy reliance on interns for routine work to be completed. Staffs can no longer cope with routine work, let alone improvements.
