Pros

Good Benefits, ok salary, some friendly staff

Cons

Management is the absolute worst. If you want a toxic work environment, this is the place to be! Would give this place zero stars if that was an option.

Pros

Good pay and benefits. Working on important environment and public health causes. Most colleagues are good people who care about the work.

Cons

Grace Communications, and specifically its sister org The Monday Campaigns, has a lot of employees who are smart, talented and know their respective fields like marketing, environmental/public health impact, web dev..., but the senior leadership holds them back. They are focused on getting good results, but are often unwilling to invest in projects and put faith in their staff to achieve it. They micromanage and have an outdated knowledge of marketing/advertising, and they don't let their employees take ownership and implement best practices. Poor management also leads to more conflict than there should be - instead of creating a collaborative space, their style divides employees. Management is unable to get rid of dead weight who make racist/sexist/ageist comments and/or their egos get in the way of producing higher quality work. And don't trust HR to have your back and advocate for you. All this results in demotivated employees and a high turnover rate. Those that do stick around are either unhappy or checked out.
