Pros

The Director of Sales out of CA is very kind and does her best to keep the team alive. The marketing team and CS/Tech team are great people to work with. You can make good money and work from home. You will hit your target sales goals. There is extensive training on the product and a great ramp period. The health benefits are fantastic. At the end of the day the product is solid and helps the clients.

Cons

The CMO put it best when he said the sales office was a toxic work environment and the company makes it hard from an operational level to get a deal closed. The people working here have very little understanding of what a professional environment should look like and how it should operate as they have very little collective work experience outside of GPS TrackIt. The team is abnormally rude, crass and condescending and management does nothing to stop it as long as the person is hitting their numbers each month. This is beyond a normal competitive "sales environment," people aren't actively trying to undercut their team to steal a lead, this is in personal interactions. People on the team who have found favor with management will be given extra leads either directly from management under the radar or from the client services team. If you are in, you're golden, if you're out, you will have to fight for each unit sold. If you escalate concerns about the professionalism of the team, or concerns about favoritism, you will get push back and be punished in ways that are hard to prove. Expectations of what you are to do each day change constantly and inconsistently. One day you need to be on the phone 8 hours, the next, as long as you hit your numbers it doesn't matter when you work, the next, management docks your vacation time without asking you first because they felt you didn't work hard enough the day before. The next day you need to make 40 calls, then the next week its 80 calls a day, the next "it doesn't matter how many calls you make," the next month it is 60 calls. When you ask if it is being enforced for everyone on the team, you get a dodgy response abut how it doesn't matter what everyone else is doing, mind your own business. If someone who has found favor with management complains about you, you will be penalized. Period. Call volumes increased, decrease in leads coming in, or maybe a schedule change, who knows. The bottom line is the people they want to exceed their numbers will do so because they get help. It is not a coincidence that people who are unliked or raise concerns just barely hit their target, while people who are personal friends with management or are favored hit their number 2x-3x. There is too much of an extremely obvious gap month after month between various people on the team for any other explanation. Your job is to make the management look good, and if you don't you will be penalized. It is hard to take any time off because the sales cycles can be so short and because they don't want you to, you only get 2 weeks anyways. You will be tied to this job and your desk every day. You will have random meetings you must attend on short notice. You will have a mandatory schedule implemented without notice. You are at the mercy of 3 different customer support teams and poorly managed inventory, and if they don't keep your clients happy you will lose money through claw back. The C level team does not listen to the employees and does not value their feedback. Bringing issues to their attention is seen as disloyalty and bringing ideas is seen as arrogance. There is no opportunity for career advancement, period. People spend decades in this same position. They do not promote from within our value the past experiences of the newer current employees.

- Reputable company - Good benefits - Good environment - Qualified skillset experience - Teamwork - Growing company - Promotional growth

Cons

- Payroll changes - Newly merged company causes constant changes in the company and they will let go of employees easily - Lack of resources for employees to efficiently work if your laptop/work tech malfunctions - Large competitor base - Lower pay in US due to most of their employees being based in other countries to save money - Jobs may include more work than describes in the description/more than what the pay would typically qualify for
