Pros

GP Strategies (formerly General Physics) is the premier learning and performance focused company. GP has enhanced their already strong brand in the training outsourcing realm with ~15 acquisitions over the past five years. I joined GP during one of the recent acquisitions and have been impressed by the family-oriented atmosphere, benefits, and open leadership structure.

Cons

Many consultants in the field are not aware of all of the capabilities of the expansive corporation. When clients and partners ask if we can fulfill a certain requirement, I am not certain that a majority of the field consultants know the full breadth of what GP can and cannot do. Also, the sales process and incentive structures are inconsistent across the company's divisions. GP Corporate is aware of this and is working on a resolution; it is not an easy task.

Pros

Great studio Nice workflow by the time the work came to us , we were left to create the video...with minimal interference gave a lot of new college grads a chance to work and create Subject matter experts (Dave and Greg) were always ready to answer technical questions...if they did not know the answer would find out Adam Stedman (then CEO) told me I was "intimidating" so that was fun I am usually called "nice...or a hard worker"

Cons

Covid turned WFH into PTO for some full timers (GP and Client) video training lost steam company purchased by a large holding company "this is going to be great"...they say then the cuts came client closed the studio we were collateral damage it was a fun gig stars below reflect part time no bennies so I could not score higher work/life video production is any 7 any hour it is what it is
