Pros

It's always nice to help people play better golf, even while having fire breathing washed up "pros" breathing down your neck for sales. It reminds me of the movie "Boiler Room"! "We don't hire golf pros! We indoctrinate them!"

Cons

1. NO Money 2. TOO Many hours to justify point #1 3. No clear leadership 4. Crony upper management 5. Poor expectations or unrealistic 6. Lets just say, if you love charity work, this is the job for you!

Pros

People who make the money everyday for the company. Those on the front lines teaching lessons and actually bringing in the revenue.

Cons

Leadership - Especially C-Suite. They have an absolutely grade-school level of what it takes to be a cohesive team, let alone run a company. So much infighting, posturing, and outright disrespect. The entire time I was with the company, no-one in the c-suite could give you an idea of what the goals of the company were. There was no long-term strategy, just talk about what could be. Then, back to doing the same thing over and over. and over. You have a CEO who held on to people for too long, hired great people, but continually got in their way, a bit of the Peter Principal. Leadership down the line is abysmal, and honestly, it isn't their fault in many ways. Leadership Development (which is always the fancy buzzword) is non-existent. It was talked about ad nauseam, but nothing was ever done. No resources to do so. Senior leaderhship had huge blind spots in many areas, that others on their team were too scared to call out. Why? Fear of not being part of the club.
