Terrible place to work - Behavior Therapist GOALS for Autism Employee Review

Pros

The families and clients are the only good part of this job.

Cons

Where to start? The CEO is unstable and narcissistic. She plays favorites and has gone through a revolving door of friends and family members in upper level positions; often they quit with no notice and under bad circumstances. The supervisors and BCBAs are mostly absent and cannot help or address behavioral issues, leaving for the therapist isolated and without help. There are rarely materials for goals and they do the bare minimum for clients as well as staff. Do not work here if you need a paycheck. They bounce more often than not and then payroll and CEO are dodgy and act like it's anyone's fault except their own that they can't manage their bank account. Besides writing bad checks, they are often late. And then they bounce. Pretty horrrific for those who have rent to pay. I got a sarcastic "you're welcome" when I went to pick up a new check to replace the bad one they wrote me. Oh and that one wouldn't go through either. Seriously, stay away from this place, as an employee and a client. These jobs are in high demand, go to a better company with a less toxic environment. Here you will just get yelled at by the unstable CEO as they avoid paying you. As if this was not enough, the office staff talks about all the employee's private business and makes fun of them. Really unprofessional. I'm not sure how they are still in business.

Pros

Working at Goals for Autism offers a highly supportive and flexible environment, making it a truly rewarding place to be. The ability to work remotely provides an excellent work-life balance, with seamless daily communication kept efficient and connected through regular Zoom interactions. What really sets the organization apart, however, is the leadership. Management is highly involved, approachable, and genuinely helpful when it comes to resolving issues quickly. Thanks to this strong emphasis on transparent, consistent communication across the board, you always feel heard, backed up, and equipped to succeed in your role.

Cons

Honestly, I have really no cons to share. I absolutely love working here, and having been with the company for close to three years, I can confidently say it’s a fantastic place to be. The culture, leadership, and day-to-day experience have been incredibly positive, and I fully plan on staying here long term.

Pros

There are no pros to this workplace- the CEO Adryon is a total nightmare

Cons

Where to begin. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. This was the worst experience I have ever had at an ABA company. The CEO Adryon is a sadist who enjoys dominating her staff. During meetings and supervision sessions, I felt that concerns were addressed in a way that came across as dismissive and condescending. On multiple occasions, feedback was delivered in front of parents, which I found unprofessional and uncomfortable. Instead of fostering a collaborative learning environment, supervision often felt intimidating.
