This place only survives on it’s fine tuned system of manipulation Financially it is holding on (barley from what I hear about a hiring freeze and layoffs from friends who still work there) by over working, understaffing and under paying their junior staff. Rather than make smart (or ethical) business choices, they require their junior staff to do accounting work, administrative work and navigate contracts while managing account work. They spend hefty amounts of money on onboard get because people leave CONSTANTLY so raises and bonuses are nothing to write home about. I genuinely believed that I had to be misunderstanding the situation and that it must be like this everywhere. They pit junior staff against one another and make sure you fed dumb enough that you feel like you can not be successful anywhere else. If you stay too long that becomes tru because you are never allowed to take ownership on tasks your peers have been doing for years everywhere else. It was not until I switched jobs that I realized I had wasted so much time. Finally a loved one convinced me to apply for a job I thought I would never get (after years of the manipulation). Thanks to proper management, professional developement and high moral I have been successful in my new role. I wish I’d listened when many many people warned me on their way out. Not everywhere is like this. Most actually are not.
