      Great opportunity to learn all aspects of managing an apartment complex of 500-1000 residents.

      Cons

      Meager compensation is out of balance with level of responsibility. Must be on call nights and weekends when emergencies arise.

      Management understands that employees have families and/or academic obligations and are willing to be flexible.

      Cons

      If you already work in property management as a leasing consultant or property manager, there's more room for growth. Not much room for growth in the corporate office.
