Pros

A truly great work life balance and company that cares about their employees. Are very flexible with scheduling and very rarely have to work long hours. Great firm if you are looking for something a little smaller but still with the corporate perks. I do greatly appreciate the relaxed work environment.

Cons

My personal experience has lead me to find that the firm needs to be more open to others being involved with the designs and bigger decisions. This seems to always be the same group of people ( also the same group of people who are constantly praised). This can lead frustration and boredom. Extremely strict on working your 40hrs...are flexible on time you come a go...but expect to make up time as minimal as 30min (even for a studio event) With that said I do think the firm is evolving and I am hopeful some of these issues with get resolved.

Pros

GFF has been a great place to work and I've grown exponentially. They are always willing to work with you and be flexible with your life. They embrace work-life balance.

Cons

Always very busy, but that is just the nature of the industry. Busy means you're employed so it isn't a bad thing!

Pros

The sodas are cold and the lunches are free.

Cons

The 'Management Committee' is a joke. The Design Studio consists of two guys working on the projects they want and everyone else is twiddling their thumbs. The new interns have nothing to do. HR puppets the talking points of the Principals. No real culture to speak of. The most bland company ever. No wonder 1/4 of the company have left in the last year. Location in Dallas is the worst..unless youre a Principal.
