Pros

Poor healthcare, bad raises even when you highly rated, if your not part of the it crowd you hit your glass ceiling very fast. They also now expect 2 hrs casual overtime.

Cons

If you do a good job they block you from moving up while the screw ups get promoted. Management is not looking to really get better, they are afraid of the unions and just looking for their next promotion. If investors really knew what it was like in the manufacturing shops they would demand change or never invest.

-Easy internal transfers to learn new components of the engines -Good benefits and hybrid schedule -Ability to travel -Ability to move between engineering groups during downturns on projects

Cons

-High attrition and turn over rate for experienced engineers and managers due to company needs in different sections -Lack of access to mentors -Movement towards outsourcing of roles to out of country (USA) -Depending on role, you will be working extra hours and weekends to meet delivery
