Pros

This company has great workers and employees before they let most of the workforce go.

Cons

I wish I could give negative stars. No culture or organization values. The company has had 3 CEOs in 3 years. It’s the same song and dance. They pay over $5M to bring in a consulting group, lay a bunch of people off, then the consultants recommend what most of the employees have been asking for for years. None of the important recommendations get implemented, even by the consultants, or if they do it’s half hearted at best. I thought the original CEO was rough, but the new one is the worst I have ever seen. He was brought in after a board takeover and has no previous experience in this role. He is simply a puppet with no original ideas of his own. He is a terrible communicator and never bothered to meet anyone, understand the organization, or lead. He simply hid in Atlanta, laid everyone off, and is now relocating the entire company to his home. Real nice guy. Operations has been stripped bare. People are routinely doing 4 or 5 jobs and the plants are continually understaffed, underfunded, and losing key talent left and right. There is nobody left in this company that understands the business or any of the markets or products. At best it gets sold, and at worst it continues to lose market share and eventually it will fold. It’s sad because this was a great company once. Goes to show what can happen when you enter into the corporate takeover carousel.
