Pros

Teammates and seniors are nice, easy to work with and very much willing to provide guidance. Other than this, nothing else is positive here.

Cons

- Lousy management - Lousy benefits (close to none) - Lousy bonus/increment Management basically screwed up the monitoring system when they forcefully go live on new system before even prepared enough. The culture here is to do first and think later. Basic forecast and estimation are not even applied, as if there is no common sense. In terms of benefit, it's pretty much standard across the entire company. Everything is either minimum or below minimum. Imagine AL is 12 days, EPF 12-13% and no outpatient coverage for insurance. Don't even think about dental/optical/claim for WFH equipment. The company will ask you to buy new monitor yourself as an investment LOL. Bonus/increment were said to based on PERFORMANCE and company profit. Let me give you a new definition of based on performance. It means you will only be qualified for it if you are TOP PERFORMER (was top 20% as of Jan'22). The calculation is simple, where the total production of team is divided by total number of staff and multiply that with 120%, that will be the number you need to hit to qualify for bonus/increment. FYI, the peak salary for analyst level, be it junior or senior, should be at RM5000. Bonus is only 50% of a month salary. So don't be too happy even if you're qualified for it 🤣. One last thing that is specific to this role will be the replacement for public holiday (RPH). As you are required to support 24x7 operations, the RPH is only given if you are assigned to work on that particular day. In another words, if your off days fall on the PH then it's as good as burnt. This issue was raised by me personally for several times but management kept BS me by saying they follow standard market practice -> (people eat sxxt, how come you never eat sxxt then?).

Pros

- Hybrid - Friendly teammates

Cons

- Poor work-life balance. - Unfair policy enforcement. - Favoritism. - Heavy workload. - Difficult leave approval process. If you're expecting a company that respects work-life balance, this may not be the right place. The company advertises a 5-day work week with 2 days off, but in reality, don't be surprised if you end up working 5 days with only 1 day off, or even 6 days with 1 day off. Complaining about it doesn't help. Sick leave can also be frustrating. Even when you provide a doctor's note, you may feel like you have to prove that you're actually sick. Public holidays are often working days. While the company says you can replace those days later, taking leave can be difficult due to operational reasons and ticket volume. Another issue is favoritism. Some employees seem to have no problem getting leave approved or having their shifts adjusted for personal plans, while others are told it's not possible. The workload is much more than what's listed in the job description. Besides handling tickets, you may also manage live chat, make customer calls, train new hires, and take on additional responsibilities as needed. You'll definitely learn a lot and gain experience quickly. However, if you're looking for fair treatment, predictable schedules, and a healthy work-life balance, you may want to consider other options.

Pros

Office near train station only

Cons

Office politics. HR is famous for their gaslighting behavior. In front of staff tell us is boss fault, boss problem and will try to help us, in front of boss fault become a shoe shiner. HR also like to stop people when people are talking about serious work, just to chit chat with other person on irrelevant things like how was breakfast. Seriously? This is a family business, if you are not part of the family, you are replaceable any time they want to. If you are not part of the family clique, you are the exception. Account department always get good benefit and favor because family member is in there. If they don't like you, they will do whatever it takes to make your life miserable, setting impossible KPI, then proceed to gaslight you. You can do your work perfectly but they will always find 1 thing to argue you back and use that 1 thing to say you are not good, then proceed to force you leave immediately. Never trust the higher upper in this company. They smile smile say will help you, but behind you act different.
