Pros
- Hybrid
- Friendly teammates
Cons
- Poor work-life balance.
- Unfair policy enforcement.
- Favoritism.
- Heavy workload.
- Difficult leave approval process.
If you're expecting a company that respects work-life balance, this may not be the right place.
The company advertises a 5-day work week with 2 days off, but in reality, don't be surprised if you end up working 5 days with only 1 day off, or even 6 days with 1 day off. Complaining about it doesn't help.
Sick leave can also be frustrating. Even when you provide a doctor's note, you may feel like you have to prove that you're actually sick.
Public holidays are often working days. While the company says you can replace those days later, taking leave can be difficult due to operational reasons and ticket volume.
Another issue is favoritism. Some employees seem to have no problem getting leave approved or having their shifts adjusted for personal plans, while others are told it's not possible.
The workload is much more than what's listed in the job description. Besides handling tickets, you may also manage live chat, make customer calls, train new hires, and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
You'll definitely learn a lot and gain experience quickly. However, if you're looking for fair treatment, predictable schedules, and a healthy work-life balance, you may want to consider other options.
