Local management is literally detached from the reality and has no idea of the marine industry. Expats working in it are racist and often mistreat local employees. Corrupt and intransparent. Never pay overtime work to the employees. The company is still litigating with its former employees, expats. The local leadership often uses threats of lawsuits and litigations to push people out of their jobs. The local leadership is very unprofessional with no managerial experience in the marine industry.

Too much senior mentality, hard to get promoted. The senior is always having higher priorities in managerial ladder than brighter junior. And the recommendation and appraisal from senior can be biased.
