Pros

- Good tech stack - Insurance & benefits are decent - 100% Remote - People are not the smartest but are collaborative

Cons

G-P used to be a true dream company to work for: employees are engaged, we are all motivated to fight for the company, the rocketship spirit is truly embedded in the DNA. We were cheering on each other, sending positivity and making the effort to make work enjoyable. However, with the goal of IPO and new ELT, seems like the leadership team has no idea on what's happening on the ground. - Morale is low: after the big talk on salary benchmarking and record breaking AAR, the truth is there is no competitive salary, increments cannot outweigh inflation, bonus is average, low chance for internal promotion. Employees no longer have a stake in this and the triple bottom line has become an all talk but no action. Previously, employees are all in because we see the opportunity to grow in our roles and a chance to promote. Now, it feels like more than 50% of the company are quiet quitting. - Recent exodus of long time employees also eroded the once amazing culture. New leadership brought in too many of their own contacts and they did not ensure a smooth integration of culture from their previous backgrounds. The G-P culture is unique, family oriented, fun. But now seems like everyone is going nuts and protecting their own rice bowls because they do not know when they will be deactivated.

G-P Response
3y
At G-P, we take employee feedback to heart. Our team members are instrumental to our success and we regularly provide opportunities for anonymous feedback beyond manager/team conversations. In our Feb. 2023 employee survey, G-P team members reported they are inspired by G-P's mission and purpose, believe in our leaders and are excited about their role in the company's continued success. We align our compensation packages to the high value we place on our team members. Our pay philosophy is grounded in being marketing competitive and our process is transparent. We calibrate our salaries to the market on an annual basis or more frequently, if needed. Compensation and promotions for all team members are recognized during this process.

Pros

Real Career Growth: This isn’t a place where you’re stuck in one role forever. There is a genuine "promote from within" philosophy. It’s incredibly motivating to see so many current leaders who started in entry-level or mid-level positions. Retention Speaks Volumes: You’ll find a lot of "veterans" here with 4+ years of service, which is rare in tech/remote environments. People stay because they’re treated well. 100% Remote & Global: The flexibility is unmatched. You get to work with incredibly smart people from all over the world, which keeps perspectives fresh and the talent bar high. Non-Hierarchical Leadership: Unlike other companies with "ivory tower" leadership, the execs here are accessible. There’s a focus on doing great work rather than navigating complex political layers. Psychological Safety to Innovate: The culture is fast-paced but fun. We’re encouraged to experiment, fail fast, and find better ways to do things. If you have a solution that improves a process, leadership actually listens.

Cons

Not for the Passive: Because it’s fast-paced and experimental, you have to be comfortable with ambiguity. If you need a rigid, step-by-step manual for every task, the "experimentation" culture might feel overwhelming at first. Time Zone Tetris: Being global and 100% remote is a huge plus, but it does mean being mindful of meeting times across different continents.

Pros

decent pay, remote, nice infrastructure for testing code

Cons

The company extended me an offer of employment and rescinded it a few days before my scheduled start date. I had turned down another opportunity because I expected to begin working there, and the rescission significantly disrupted my career plans. I was disappointed by how the situation was handled.
