Hired, and Then Laid-off Three Months Later - Marketing Team Futurex Employee Review

At the time, I was a recent college graduate who just bought a house, and my wife and I brought our first child into the world. They hired me three weeks after I graduated, and I thought that this would be a great career with a lot of hard-working people that I respected. Unfortunately, due to 'economic circumstance', less than 3 months later, my job and the department I worked in was eliminated--leaving me unemployed with a ton of student loans, a mortgage to pay, and hospital bills from my child's birth--despite working extremely hard, meeting all of my deadlines, and producing a lot of material. This resulted in severe financial hardship (unemployment compensation in Texas is not enough) for me and my family, that we still have not recovered from.
