      Pros

      If you like being a developer and don't want to change that function but want to have a annually salary actualization and compensation for your work. You can work remotely freely. You have some freedom to start and end your shift but is expected that you work the period when your client is up.

      Cons

      Its expected that you must learn by yourself if a new task or technology comes out of your knowledge and its given to you. You will always by a developer and there's no new job title no matter the work that you do.

      Pros

      Informal setting. Everyone (including bosses) has technical skills and is able to (and actually does) help in every situation. Company's small, so you get to know and talk to everyone. No one feels like a lowbie or "just a number". Pays decently well. Relationship with clients is usually good.

      Cons

      Career advance is horizontal, which means that you'll start as a technical developer (consultant) and stay there for the rest of your career. Your job and functions will only change mostly as the client needs change. No real career planning.

      Some colleagues are helpful and friendly

      Cons

      There is no organization. Nothing is explained but you have to do the work as the boss expects. Even if you have no knowledge of certain subjects the management expect you to fake it in front of the client for their sake. The management expects that technical consultants have functional knowledge because there are no functional consultants in the company.
