Pros

They are moving very fast, but management is super organized to get all the essential behind-the-scenes work done. As with a lot of high-growth companies, everyone has to wear several hats. There is an incredible breadth of new and cutting-edge technologies used in creative ways, which makes a ton of opportunities to learn new things and grow. Fantastic new office with a lot of comforts provided. Huge investment into the company's growth and employees.

Cons

They are growing very fast, which tends to come with few growing pains and some discontent due to resistence to change. This growth also comes with great opportunities for those with ambition and willingness to take on responsibility. I found that some of the employees were very inexperienced. So much so, they did not seem to fully grasp how a business operates, what management actually means and is there for, or what proper business/office conduct was.

Pros

If you're young and hungry, this is a creative and exciting place to cut your teeth. Passion is the fuel that this company runs on so be prepared to join in the madness that is fast turn around projects with technology that's untested and bleeding edge. - There are some great projects that you'll get to work on - The overall company culture is laid back and co-workers are pleasant - There's opportunity for mentorship & training (Jake is a wealth of knowledge) - Everyone is given a chance to be creatively involved in designing experiences

Cons

But after a while you're likely to realize that the expectation placed upon you to do 2-3 people's job is unsustainable and doesn't even come close to matching the compensation. - All decisions are unilaterally made by the CEO which causes huge bottlenecks and inefficiencies - A general lack of trust in employees tends to cause leadership to be overbearing at their best and belittling at their worst - Incessant focus on time tracking and task scheduling zaps energy - Lack of remote work flexibility and an overall transparent policy around this - Salary and healthcare benefits are not competitive
