Pros

Met some great people that are still friends with to this day.

Cons

Management is horrible! They walk around the building with nothing but dollar signs in their eyes. Grew too fast, too soon, where infrastructure was not was not there to support it. A lot of people are not in the right chairs. High turn over rate. Can't keep good employees because all the good ones worked themselves to death while the pockets of the senior management gets fatter. Just like me, they worked me to death and put my department where it needed to be, built the processes and procedures to prepare them for their growth and what did I get? I got booted out with no logical reason. The day they let me go was the best day of my life!!! I would never put any of my friends or even enemies to the torture of having them work for this selfish, cocky and at-the-edge of unlawful company!

Pros

The team you get to work with and grow with is the best part of the job. If you’re into the product, the employee discount is solid I suppose.

Cons

Near zero chance for career growth with this company, within the retail store itself or moving up to corporate. The company has been subject to frequent layoffs and “restructuring”. The retail store has had three different general managers (so far). There are associates that have been part time for years, yet working full time hours, receiving no benefits. The retail store doesn’t utilize its workers properly. Good, solid workers have jumped ship completely due to burnout, being stepped on, management refusing to correct toxic workplace behavior, and selective coaching. You’re promised the opportunity to grow, but denied the development to make that a reality.
