Pros

My coworkers were some of the nicest and funniest people I've ever met, I'm still friends with a few of them. The job is pretty easy, and the hours are flexible. They stick pretty close to your requested number of hours, and requesting time off is very easy. 2 of the managers are great, the others, not so much.

Cons

The parents can be downright awful. We have a certain (and rather confusing) way of doing things, and when parents didn't understand, they would just start yelling. Also, kids can be frustrating sometimes. Everything is way overpriced, and it's super cramped and loud inside the building. There can be long hours (10+ hour shifts outside in the summer), and they're open until 11:30 Fridays and Saturdays, which means you have to stay until midnight. And during prom season there are days where you can until 5am. They train you by sticking you at a station and you have to find another employee to tell you how to do it. And the worst part: THE MANAGERS PLAY FAVORITES. If they don't like you, they'll stick you in the back all day where all you do is just stand there. If you're in school, you can sign a paper saying that you're leaving for the school year and returning in the summer, which is what I did. When I came back after my first year at college, they told me that i had to submit a whole new application, even though a coworker told me that the manager just emailed her an availability form, she filled it out, and poof! She was on the schedule. I filled out the application, brought it in, and the manager wouldn't give me the time of day. I called several times regarding my application, but the person who answered the phone either said that the manager was busy, or just hung up. I took the hint and got a new job.

Pros

Hours are flexible, treats young employees with more respect than most places imo, lots of variety in work, opportunities for growth and pay raises, good entry level work

Cons

Some inconsistent policies. Shift managers tend to bear the brunt of the worst from poor upper management decisions, uncooperative employees, and rude customers. (I wasn't a shift manager, this is just what I observed)
