Pros

- Good pay - Flexible working location - opportunity to work alongside some very talented people with a lot of industry knowledge - Good product that provides a lot of value to customers

Cons

- Needs a complete culture change from the top-down - Highly toxic environment to work in, constant mass lay offs, constant change in direction/strategy, constant gossip and whispers due to lack of transparency from senior leadership - 0 work/life balance - Has the con of “unlimited PTO” which means employees don’t really take it - Feels like a sinking ship once you’re in

Nothing noteworthy as of late.

Pros

FullStory operates in an exciting space, and the product itself is genuinely fun to work with. The company is still small enough to retain a startup feel, which gives employees a high degree of autonomy and ownership. It feels like you can actually make an impact rather than being just another number. The product continues to evolve and has a strong focus on AI, which is an excellent area to build skills in and a great place to be for anyone interested in the future of digital analytics. There’s a strong sense of innovation, and you’re often exposed to meaningful, high-impact work.

Cons

Because the company is relatively small, long-term career trajectory can feel limited. There are fewer opportunities to grow beyond your current role or move into management or leadership compared to larger organizations. At times, there is also a heavy focus on shiny new features, which can come at the expense of core product functionality. Many of these core features are still highly relevant in the market and would benefit from continued refinement and improvement.
