Pros
Relatively easy work, simple tasks, and a manageable workload on an average day. When it's a steady quiet day, it's actually a really nice place to work.
Cons
Good employees often find the work environment stressful on a personal level due to the pass-the-buck mentality of insurance companies, doctors' offices, and patients. That's unfortunately why many leave the company, because little effort is made by Fruth to keep its employees confidence and preparedness high. Specifically for the pharmacy: Profiling customers interested in purchasing items used in the production of meth was soul-sucking. Either I felt like a jerk checking ID's of potentially healthy customers, or I watched the system of writing Driver's License #'s in a book do nothing to stop regular purchasing of ephedrine by the same people all the time. Outdated systems, ineffective work practices, and long wait-times led to many pharmacy patients dealing with inconsistencies in the delivery of their prescriptions.
