Pros
At first, everything felt great. Even though I didn’t have any prior experience as an administrative assistant, they still gave me a chance — something I truly appreciated. The pay was also good, which made the offer even more rewarding.
Cons
Since I was new to the position, it was hard for me to learn everything in just two weeks — but I really tried my best. After only two weeks from my hired date, my client reported me to HR and gave me a low performance grade.
A week later, the same thing happened again. It was frustrating because my client expected me to master everything without providing any proper instructions or guidance. I raised my concerns during every HR meeting, especially since I was being reported weekly. HR listened, but I still felt like I was the one always at fault. It made me feel stupid, like I wasn’t good enough, even though I was doing everything I could.
