Pros

You will work within smaller teams who are all highly supportive and really competent making getting to grips with your role a challenging-breeze. In this role you will have inspiring line-managers who work hard on a good team culture as well as trying to motivate you to reach for your own goals and well as the company's. You can develop lots of transferable skills in communication and sales to aid you in your next step.

Cons

The major downside of working at Frontiers, in my opinion, is Senior Management's insistence on ignoring the elephant in the room: the capabilities and academic qualifications of their staff who are spending 60% of their time doing basic admin a well-trained robot could do. The lack of transparency on this front led me to be resentful of management who show you the CV developing projects you can enjoy in the 5% of your time you have left (in fairness the 25% unaccounted for is where you communication skills bloom), but only after you are left feeling demotivated and unsatisfied by the majority of work. The 60% I am talking about did not suit me because repetitive and time-efficient are not my middle names - I am more of a creative and time-effective type. - Good Luck!
