Pros
The recruiter I worked with at Frontera Search Partners was very supportive throughout my contract job. You never know what you are going to step into with a contract job so you need to make sure that your recruiter has your back. Sometimes recruiters can be mercenaries. However, my recruiter at Frontera Search Partners epitomized what a recruiter should be to a contracted provider or a health professional who is trying to give their best to company (and the patients they see) they are contracted with. You need a solid liaison who is interested in you and understands the difficulties of the job you are doing. I felt like Frontera and my recruiter cared about me, and my recruiter understood that I was utilizing my skills effectively to help clients who really needed someone to go to bat for them. I do know that I was paid better than other contractors at the facility that I worked for. The other contractors were working for another agency, and from what they said, they were not given the same support and worked at a lower pay rate. Also, my recruiter was always available to talk to me, and he responded quickly to my emails.
