Pros
FRBA has exceptional team work first and for most from the supervisors, to scheduling team, and of course all the technicians working direct. I have never worked with a better group of people that are so passionate and hard working about helping these kids achieve their goals, they make me want to get up and come to work after having a hard day knowing I have the support at the center no matter what. I love how FRBA gives multiple opportunities to move up quickly. I started 10 months ago and have already moved up to technician 2 where I have gotten the pleasure to not only work direct but also learn the behind the scenes of making the clients programming and curriculum. Compensations and benefits are higher than most ABA businesses I have seen and the flexibility and work life balance FRBA gives is unbeatable.
Cons
Although I have found love for this type of work it is not for all people. This line of work can be very stressful emotionally and physically so its important to know how to have coping skills to help you. You are going to have a lot of information thrown at you, but don't be afraid to reach out for help, everyone is very helpful and were all in your shoes at one time. It is a fast paced environment all directed around the clients needs which means multitasking data collection as well as the client.
