Pros

Excellent privately owned company with great product line but incapable management.

Cons

If you mess up, you get promoted! If you perform you get singled out Because other pencil pushers are scared of being exposed. Under performers survive under the radar for year. High performers have zero visibility since leadership has no experience of Engineering processes since., they come from accounting back ground. Not a good place to work for over performing engineers. You will never shine. German owners are never told the true story as to why good successful engineers either leave or get fired. Incapable department managers. A premier NH company, held back due to leadership without vision.

Pros

Stable company with broad global reach. Front office jobs not demanding, hybrid schedules and low expectations lead most to be 30-35 hr weeks.

Cons

At first this looks like a positive: you’ll notice that many employees have tenures of 15,20, 30 years. But that leads to a lot of group think and insular behaviors. They actually have a common statement among employees - “you’re not a Freudenberger unless you’ve been here 10 years.” Not exactly a welcoming statement to new employees. If you’d like to have your input and thoughts ignored for a decade, this is the place for you. Convinced they have great technologies, but in market terms, average technology at best. Horrific infighting between divisions. Management meetings resemble Klukluxclan meetings in terms of diversity. Pay scales below market, 401k match very weak
