Freudenberg Group Response

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to give us this insight you’ve gained from your experience with Freudenberg. We appreciate you letting us know how you feel your facility is being run as well as how it could be improved. Policies are created for specific reasons, so it is concerning to hear reports of our policies being ignored and/or lacking enforcement. The safety of our employees is our number one objective and these rules most certainly need to be followed and enforced. Your feedback regarding training, overtime abuse and cell phone use will be passed on to the management as soon as possible to ensure these issues can be addressed in a timely manner. If there is any more feedback you wish to share, please let us know as we are always open to hearing our associate’s opinions. Sincerely, Corporate HR Team

Pros

Stable company with broad global reach. Front office jobs not demanding, hybrid schedules and low expectations lead most to be 30-35 hr weeks.

Cons

At first this looks like a positive: you’ll notice that many employees have tenures of 15,20, 30 years. But that leads to a lot of group think and insular behaviors. They actually have a common statement among employees - “you’re not a Freudenberger unless you’ve been here 10 years.” Not exactly a welcoming statement to new employees. If you’d like to have your input and thoughts ignored for a decade, this is the place for you. Convinced they have great technologies, but in market terms, average technology at best. Horrific infighting between divisions. Management meetings resemble Klukluxclan meetings in terms of diversity. Pay scales below market, 401k match very weak
