Pros

It's a pay check, nothing more. You don't have to work hard. People only do what they want to do.

Cons

Advancement is based on who you know not achievements. They only want YES people. Data is frowned upon. Workers run the plant. Rules aren't enforced. Benefit costs are high.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to leave this feedback regarding your experience with Freudenberg. Unfortunately, we understand that not every employee has a positive experience with us and we need to hear feedback like this in order to improve. The information you have given us regarding issues with advancement have been passed on to the appropriate teams and they will be taking it into consideration as we work on continuous improvement. Upward mobility is a top priority for Freudenberg and we want to make sure that all of our associates feel that they have a long-term career here. As for benefits, we remain competitive within the market and work diligently each year to offer our associates a plan that will be beneficial and cost effective for both parties. This will continue to be an ongoing project as the markets ebbs and flows each year. Sincerely, Corporate HR Team

Pros

Stable company with broad global reach. Front office jobs not demanding, hybrid schedules and low expectations lead most to be 30-35 hr weeks.

Cons

At first this looks like a positive: you’ll notice that many employees have tenures of 15,20, 30 years. But that leads to a lot of group think and insular behaviors. They actually have a common statement among employees - “you’re not a Freudenberger unless you’ve been here 10 years.” Not exactly a welcoming statement to new employees. If you’d like to have your input and thoughts ignored for a decade, this is the place for you. Convinced they have great technologies, but in market terms, average technology at best. Horrific infighting between divisions. Management meetings resemble Klukluxclan meetings in terms of diversity. Pay scales below market, 401k match very weak
