- Unprofessional owners - aggressive, rude, lost their temper and insulted staff often - Untrained/inexperienced owners (no restaurant or business experience at all) - did not know what they were doing - Lazy owner (owner #1) - would just sit and use social media without helping staff - Micromanaging owner (owner #2) - would actively watch you through the security cameras to see if you would mess up or make mistakes - Favoritism - Gossip and drama - Owners would allow customers to abuse employees - always sided with customers - No work-life balance - they do not care about their employees, - They expected you to put them first with no regard to your personal life or well-being - Always short-staffed - Extreme distress and would end up in tears after a shift - Lack of communication - it was snowing heavily and I ended up stuck waiting in the cold, outside the restaurant for the opening shift without anyone picking up my calls and telling me they decided to close for the day.
