Pros
This is an ok company to build some multi-turbine time. -Good job if you're a Wisconsin native and already live in one of their bases. -Regularly scheduled Monday-Sat Morning cargo routes. -Build multi-turbine pic fast! -Well equipped aircraft that are well maintained -Other pilots are great! You'll make life long friends while you're here! -Fast upgrades to other airframes -Ok pay and bennies -Pilot training program is above average -Company has consistently grown since it's inception
Cons
-Management's style is a hard type X. -Pilots are asked to sign "training agreements" that give the employer the right to collect even if you are fired or laid off. They do pursue people even when they fire them. (They have filed claims against multiple former employees over training agreements. Check out Wisconsin CCAP and search for "Freight Runners Express Inc.") -If you are on the "on-demand" end of the business you are on-call 24/7 with a 30 min call out time. -Management has a, "if we can get away with it, lets do it" approach to most aspects of the business. You will be asked to take flights that are illegal. -Little or no safety culture. Company has a long history of preventable accidents and incidents. There are worse places but there are definitely better places. My advice is not to spend more than 18 month at this place and stay on the "routes" side of the business.
