Pros

If you're in management you get a salary

Cons

Where do I begin. Take it from someone who slaved there for eight years. Do not even consider working here. They train all of the staff to lie, cheat, and steal from customers. I understand business is business but capitalizing off of people's misfortune in a big way is in no way proper business. They will have their agents try and get massive fees from working people like you and I. Most of the agents make minimum wage, and complain about their paychecks and management every two weeks. Advice for someone going into entry level management, you will get no benefits what so ever. You get no vacation time, crap medical insurance that does not even meet Obama care standards, and plan on being forced to work 9 hours a day, and every other Saturday without a day off during the week. The deceitful practices of this company make it difficult to sleep at night. You don't have to take my advice but don't say I didn't tell ya.

Pros

my co workers and a small portion of the clients were the only good thing about this job

Cons

the pay structure. base pay VS commission, not base pay WITH commission like every other insurance agency. Additionally, you see AT MOST 12% of the 15% commission that Freeway gets from you selling a policy. And you see at most 23% of the broker fee that you charge your non standard clients. You are """encouraged""" (read: forced) to charge poor people down on their luck exorbitant broker fees, and make up some fake discount if they by some chance are not able to. But, of course, you get chewed out if you don't charge at least a 200 broker fee. Look at your gross income go up. Now think about how you wont see any of that money. Feels really good, doesn't it? Honestly, you could write a whole book on Freeway's faults. Not Good.
