Cons
I felt compelled to leave a review because it seems many of the positive reviews here might be misleading or written by senior team members themselves. Soon after joining the Free Soul team, I realized it was a significant mistake. The cheerful and social image they portray online is completely at odds with the reality. The culture is either cult-like or leaves people feeling miserable. Strict office hours, unrealistic expectations of overtime, and a complete disregard for work-life balance make the environment unbearable. Despite knowing this, senior management turns a blind eye under the excuse that "it’s a start-up." An aesthetic office space doesn’t compensate for the lack of genuine care for employees. The so-called "fun events" they advertise come at the cost of underpaid employees working evenings and weekends without proper compensation. Personally, I was asked to work every Sunday for free, under the guise of “team spirit.” Even basic resources are inadequate—staff are expected to use faulty laptops or their personal devices, and this is considered normal. It’s disheartening that a brand built on the premise of caring for women shows so little care or support for its employees.
