Pros

The fact that we were able to get overtime was a plus, and that they tried to keep us working only 4 days a week (3 day weekends!) otherwise, and that we were always off on Sundays was great.

Cons

Short staffing and high turnover. They pushed us just a little too hard, which resulted in us always losing people due to repetitive injuries, or they were sticking with the job even though they were destroying their bodies.

Pros

Good people to work with. Money is comparable.

Cons

Overtime is figured into my budget and they cut it out.

Pros

Small team environment where it’s possible to have a noticeable impact. Variety of responsibilities offers a chance to learn across different areas of the business. Willingness to invest in certain tools and resources to support job functions. Health benefits and PTO are provided. Travel is occasionally supported when tied to company needs.

Cons

Limited formal training or onboarding; employees are often expected to self-start and figure things out as they go. Compensation may not always align with market standards for the region or job expectations. Communication between departments can be uneven, especially during periods of internal change. Processes and policies sometimes feel reactive rather than part of a long-term plan. Culture is impacted by long-standing issues within HR; specifically, a noticeable lack of empathy, consistency, and support, which affects morale across departments. Concerns are often dismissed unless coming from favored individuals.
