      Everyone was out to get you in every way. You had to have receipts of every interaction you had with anyone.

      owner is nice. but aloof as hell.

      Cons

      not an actual general contractor. can't manage a project to save his life. if he says he's subcontracting labor out, he's lying, while still charging you a finder's fee.
