Business outlook
Pros
Once I made it past the initial 3 months of working for $14 per hour, my pay became salaried and raised to $45,000 per year. The healthcare benefits were great.
Cons
Training was minimal. I had no previous legal experience, and the on-the-job training was not adequate to get me up to speed. October was the absolute worst time of year, when we had a crunch time before the Green Card visa application deadline. I regularly stayed in the office until to 8-10pm during that time. I dreaded going to work every morning.
