Tight-knit place that holds favoritism over any other standard of work - Industrial Hygienist 2 Four Rivers Nuclear Partnership Employee Review

Pros

Good Insurance, decent pay, 10-4 work schedule which means you get Friday's off.

Cons

They treat subcontractors better than direct hires. Mid-management plays favorites, which makes me think top-management does to. Bureaucracy and red-tape makes it hard to get anything done. And co-workers are constantly trying to get each other into trouble via lies whistle-blowing.

Pros

Very professional organization led by a great senior leadership team. Many hardworking individuals and the jobs have very good pay and benefits.

Cons

As a government contractor, you do have to deal with a lot of government regulations and red tape sometimes, That does have a tendency to make projects take much longer than usual.

Pros

Pay, co-workers, 4-10 shift, never ending loop of learning.

Cons

Stressed out most days, cannot keep up with all the expectations being pushed down from above, feeling up being set up for failure daily with each new work package cycle, if a need arises and a support group doesn't want to perform it, it will be pushed off on us the FLMs. Suck ups get the most benefit from the middle management, plenty of snake oil salesmen pushing their own agenda.
