Pros

Friendly atmosphere and sense of comradery. Plenty of cash flow and a clear overflow for those well connected.

Cons

The company is very tight knit. Opportunity for advancements are slim and require extensive time within the company along with the personal favor of higher up co-worker. Without one or the other, actual job related experience takes a back seat.

Cons

worked at Beeline for several months, and my experience was disappointing on nearly every level — from management practices to overall work culture. I was hired under the impression that this was a permanent bartending position, but within two months, my schedule dropped from 3–4 shifts per week to one, and then to none at all — with zero communication or explanation from management. Despite keeping full Thursday–Sunday availability, I went over a month without a single scheduled shift. The work environment is extremely cliquey, with a clear divide between year-round employees and anyone brought on seasonally or temporarily. If you’re not part of that inner circle, it’s easy to feel excluded and overlooked. Operational standards are equally frustrating. Bartenders are required to use both jiggers and posi-pourers, which makes no sense and only slows down service — it comes across as a lack of trust in staff skill and experience. The cleanliness behind the bar is subpar, with sticky surfaces everywhere, and there is no employee hand soap provided — you actually have to go to the guest restroom to wash your hands, which is unacceptable in a bar setting. On top of that, upper management includes themselves in the tip pool, which is not only unethical but illegal, and it directly impacts the amount bartenders take home. To make things worse, tips are paid out bi-weekly and often delayed, sometimes taking up to four weeks to appear on your paycheck. Overall, Beeline prioritizes appearance and hierarchy over genuine leadership and respect for staff. There are many bars in the area that operate far more professionally and treat their employees fairly — I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
