"Temporary employee" to not give benefits - Laborer Fountainhead Development Employee Review

Hired on originally at what I thought was a decent pay rate before realizing that the cost of living in Fairbanks is about 35% the average. Turns out that I was basically making just barely above minimum wage for skilled labor. The way this company works is to keep people on as long of a temporary status as possible to not have to give any kind of benefits either. Perhaps due to the large turnover in construction in the area (speculative).
