Pros

Basically the pros are getting to meet new people and new contacts, and you get paid. That's it.

Cons

Management is below average. A twelve year old could manage this company and do a much finer job. I was told I would get bonuses and I have yet to see that. The headphones are absolutely disgustingly terrible, quality is bad, sometimes the volume of the caller gets louder regardless of turning it down. Don't get me started on the computers. The computers are running i3 processors with 2GB of RAM. 2! AND i3s! This isn't 2005. It's painfully slow and it takes forever to load a page. The internet browser we are using is basically the internet explorer from 2005. Don't know what it is called. They refuse to upgrade anything and that's what is hurting this company. The employees need better equipment and better management. DO NOT WORK HERE.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
