Pros

Work remotely. Learning experience. Some customers are very pleasant to work with.

Cons

Not a place you want to stay for too long. Salary is dismal. Hours are erratic. You don't get paid when sick, system failures or for breaks but they expect you to do work related activities on your own time without compensation. Training is not the best, in some case you are put on the phones without any training in a specific product, but you are expected to keep the customer for only 10 minutes. When you don't know what you are doing, that is almost impossible!

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
